There's not much I love more than a house full of...
khughes: sarahseag: We’re mostly moved into our new housie! Power moving with a select group of strong men really does the trick. The pouring rain was a fun challenge. It would’ve been too easy without it. Anyways, our movers have a delish treat coming to them next week. As long as we can find all our pots and pans of course. Come and visit us, okay? Know what's annoying?
bennyburg: Headaches. That’s what. They’re becoming a frequent occurrence in my life and I’ve had about enough! What’s most annoying is that I only get them on the left side of my head. Why not the right side? Or maybe the whole head? A little symmetry every once in a while might be nice… TELL me about it. Although, I get my migraines right in the back of my head-my nape if you will, and it...

Art Prize...
billkahler: sarahseag: is awesome! Thanks to my wonderful bosses I now have a bracelet, a booklet, can ride the Art Bus for free, can text and vote for any art I want, can get a free coffee any time I want at Schuler’s, and had the best lunch ever art prizing it up around town. Free coffee for life? Free coffee until ArtPrize is over-so, basically.

My attempt to help Kate find something to read...
Me: I don't know, I mean, what are you in the mood for? Do you WANT to try Twilight?
Kate: I don't know...probably not.
Me: Okay, well let's see here. Not to insult you, but I have some pretty good kids books from my children's lit class. Ronia the Robber's daughter is a good story-It's from Sweden.. And then there's my collection of romance novel's from Brett's mom, if you're into THAT kind of thing...
Kate: (scanning the pages for the romantice scenes) What's a "nape?"
Me: The back of your neck...give me that. Uhh, I don't think you'll like THIS, or THIS...Have you read Hamlet? Here's something. Amusing Ourselves to Death. Very thought provoking. Maybe you don't want that so late at night...
Kate: Just, what do you think I'll like?
Me: Depends on what you're in the mood for. It's hard to say-we like different things. I can finish a book whether I like it or not...I mean, Twilight is cheesy and an easy read, but pretty okay if you want to read it. Maybe Laura has the first Harry Pott-
Kate: Maybe I'll just read THIS again (Don Miller book)
Me: Oh, come on!!! Try something NEW once in awhile!
Kate: ......Give me the kids book.

That Fall is so great. I enjoy some parts about it. Like my birthday, Halloween, or caramel apples or leaves. I realize that it is a beautiful time. I’m so thankful for the lovely Fall we usually have. But I have NEVER NEVER in my whole life looked forward to it. And I’ll tell you why. Because winter comes directly after it!!! Does nobody else remember that? And then it’s winter...

WEEKends, I prefer the WEEKends!
On this one I did some neat things. Like—- Swam in Lake Michigan with my sisters every day. We acted like children and were ridiculous in the water, but nobody else was around so it was fine. Invented (or maybe not) caramel apple pancakes. They were a big hit. Started to join my family on a “nature walk” but got cranky and turned back when it turned into more of a “climb...

YOU'RE WHAT'S WRONG WITH AMERICA!!!
A middle aged man shouted this at me yesterday because I rode my bike on the sidewalk. I didn’t come anywhere near him, but I guess he felt strongly enough about what I was doing to shout at me. I just…don’t think I’m what’s wrong with America.

Tired eyes
I have them. From the time I woke up until right now, my eyes feel like if I shut them for just a second, I could fall asleep instantly. It also feels like they’re on fire, so that’s fun.

Fall cleaning
Today I noticed some dust on my desk. I thought I would just wipe it off, but nope! I launched into a cleaning/organization frenzy. I even used some fancy wood polish that was wood scented so my fake wood desk smells like the real deal.

katiedillon: sarahseag: Crazy for Swayze. It’s okay, haven’t you seen Ghost? He’ll probably just follow you around all day. If he’s in the form of Johnny Castle and dances around me all day, I’d be fine with that. I can think of worse people to haunt me.

We are SO lucky to have been raised amongst...
bennyburg: sarahseag: A new, fall-edition Land’s End catalog just arrived at my work and I am straight up thrilled about it. I was drinking cappucinos…and then I went to lattes…and now double espresso macchiato. I’m now a big old chai tea latte soy milk kind of guy. Mmm. Soy. Because of the lactose. You’re lactose intolerant now. Brenna-you HAVE to. You just do.

Post college disappointment
After having my computer for nearly a year, I happily installed Microsoft Office onto it  yesterday. I eagerly awaited it to finish installing, opened Word just for the heck of it and realized I have absolutely nothing to type, edit, keep track of, or present in the near future. But I’m still glad I have it, should I ever need it. And the little w, x, and p symbols look so fine sitting down...
